I'm sticking to my promise for another month. Here's some coffee cup wisdom* for your desktop, available in a few devices if you'd like it on your phone or iPad as well. Feel free to pin or share, but please link back to the original post if you do. I hope you find some magic this month :)

*C pointed out to me after I made this wallpaper that we do have a coffee cup with this exact quote on it. I guess my brain does absorb something before I drink my coffee, albeit sub-consciously...

Last time I created a desktop wallpaper, I thought I'd make it a monthly thing. I was all gung-ho to design a desktop each month, I even made this one, but I couldn't really finish it. It's still not perfect by any means, but when I saw Kate's email with this Leonard Cohen quote, I figured it matched nicely and got over myself. Enjoy life's little imperfections, I say. If this wallpaper floats your boat, feel free to download it and apply it to your desktop, or wallpaper your phone or iPad with it. I made a secret promise to myself to design a freebie each month this year. Guess it's not so secret anymore! Wish me luck.

I also just had a moment thinking that "freebie" might be a terribly Australian slang kind of term like "sunnies" (thanks for reminding me Andrea) and g'day (nobody actually says that). Is "freebie" normal, or totally Australian and I should stop using bad slang?

Freebie! And A Thought For The Day

Don't even ask me how long I've been planning to do this for. A long time, OK? There are no excuses that you haven't heard before. I have finally gotten around to creating a nice little desktop download that you can grab for your computer, tablet or phone. I'm in a fatalistic mood tonight, hence the theme. I hope you like it, feel free to share this link with your friends.

I apologise - my Flickr account has decided it would not like to play today. I hope Photobucket serves you well :) You can click on the image you'd like, which will maximise it, and then right click "save" or "set as desktop".
