Photo A Day #106 Portrait by Liberace

Tonight I've been looking through my travel photographs, selecting the images for the next batch of my holiday snaps I'm sharing on the blog. I came across this image from my time in North Carolina that I really wanted to share with you.

A town named Marshall in North Carolina, filled with artists and dreamers. We stayed with a lovely lady named Ruth. When we got up in the morning, she was really excited to have her picture taken and show us all of her knick knacks, plants and precious things. We were treated to this portrait of her as a child, which she told us was created by Liberace, who was her neighbor at the time. I love this photo C took, it is definitely an instance where a picture is worth a thousand words. Beautiful.
