Kitty & Buck is turning one! To celebrate, I have collected a very special group of creative people together for giveaways throughout the entire month of February. We are selecting giveaway items from people who I have gotten to know over the past 12 months, thanks to Kitty & Buck. The second giveaway comes from the awesome Lauren of Emerging Thoughts. If you haven't visited the online boutique, you're missing out! Emerging Thoughts sells a range of work from emerging and independent designers including Dear Creatures, Sea of Bees, Curator, Postlapsaria and more. Lauren has bloggers model many of the clothes for her store, which adds a personal touch. She has also recently launched a kick-butt loyalty program too! You can see me wearing some of her wares in this outfit post. (The Curator dress Lauren recommended to me is a wardrobe staple now)
Today Emerging Thoughts is offering a Kitty & Buck reader one of their gorgeous crystal necklaces. The necklace will be a randomly selected shape from the 3 shown above. You have your usual Rafflecopter entries below, don't forget the bonus social media entries too. I encourage you to sign up for the Emerging Thoughts loyalty program and support this lovely business. Lauren works really hard to ensure that your experience is awesome, plus she has a great range that is updated weekly. Also, she is always tweeting about The Pixies, so you know, she has good taste in music... (oh and there's lots of tweets with discount codes too!) What are you waiting for? Enter below, and good luck!

What I Wore - Pastel Rock
It's time for another outfit post! It's been raining quite a bit lately, and it's kind of hard to take outfit photos. We have our lovely music room that can work, but it has no windows, which is excellent for soundproofing, not so good for obtaining... light. Anyway, C rigged up all of my fancy kaleidoscope lights and we shot some pics during our weekly jam. I hope you like it!
So, I don't want to appear ignorant, but I had no idea that there was such a thing as shoes with hidden wedges inside. When I saw these Blowfish Tabbit sneaker wedges, I wondered "Why do people want uncomfortable shoes to look comfortable? Wouldn't you want it the other way around?" I decided to give them a try anyway, and I'm so glad I did! They are so comfortable, I'm confident to wear them for my 4km of walking I do as part of my commute each day. Unlike other wedges I own, these have some cushioning, so they feel like they have a similar give to running shoes, which is awesome. Plus you get the added bonus of a 3 inch wedge, so I can be that little bit taller :) I'm going to give them a try with some jeans next, I'll let you know the results.

But It Was On Sale...
I hate to be the devil's advocate but you know, sometimes I have to share the fashion bargains I find, especially when I'm heading on holidays and trying to save my pennies. While I've been window shopping, I decided to curate a little collection of sale and discount goodies to be had in the online world, just in case you're on the lookout for a little something on a budget. *Items might have sold out since I found them, it's the nature of the beast. Good Luck :)

There's just something about wooden jewellery especially when it's painted all kinds of pretty colours. So Little Time Co. has something for every taste. I love the brooches and necklaces, but aren't these heart earrings sweet?
I love Tasty Tuesday on The Design Files, recently I spotted this recipe for Salsa Verde, and I can confirm, it is delicious. Now you just need to choose what to eat it with! I had some yummy organic corn in the fridge and it went very nicely :)
Melissa from Bubby and Bean posted about "Loss and Gratitude For Life and Love" this week. It's always good to be reminded of what we have to be thankful for. We are not pieces of flotsam on a wave. Remember to live with purpose and never forget to tell your loved ones all about how much you love them :)
On that note... I hope you all have a lovely weekend, I'm sure I'll see you before it's over.

I know I am going to have such a hard time in Japan, there are so many cute things to buy. Lucky I hate shopping, hopefully I'll spare myself a bit of luggage pain. Just in case, I'm only taking carry on (as I usually do) and I've booked a 20kg checked bag for my flight back. Do you think I'll be able to fit some balloon lamps in?

I know it's summer here, but this cowl is so pretty, I had to share!

Let's finish off the same way we started, with some love hearts. This dress from Modcloth is so cute, I love the length of the skirt and the cute 40's feel to it.
